Mr Tom Petty, one of my all time favorite musicians. I originally did this in ink, but I wasn't very satisfied with it, so I drew it in pencil. I was very, very please with the result. The guitar strings were the hardest part, especially since I'm a lefty. The background of the original image was black, but I haven't yet decided whether or not to ink out the background. Any suggestions on that are welcome, of course.

And you're right, the detailing on the face is less, same with the hair, but this is one of my older drawings. Plus my scanner sucked on this one.
